The Blue Crab specialises in serving fish, shellfish and seafood. Our Nippers Menu offers small dishes for children with ice cream and drink included.
This year we have lots of dishes on the menu that are gluten free. If you do have any other allergies just let us know when you order. Most of our fish is simply grilled or baked.
We are fully licensed. Our new winter menu is now running with some hearty warming dishes such as fish pie and game pie, and our crab and spinach lasagne. On specials we have griddled garlic mackerel.
At Lunch we also serve Yarmouth hand picked crab sandwiches. Cod bites with homemade chips and a fishermans platter which is proving to be a popular dish.

Sells a variety of Fish, Seafood and Shellfish to take away.
Every Thursday at 10am - 2.30pm the Yar Bar is open for customers to come and purchase fresh fish to cook at home or on barbeques.
During the winter months our supply is limited so if you require any fish in particular please call us with your request. We usually always have Seabass fillets, Sole, Plaice fillets, Bream fillets, Live Mussels, Smoked Haddock fillets, Seafood Pie Mix, Scallops, & Mackerel when available.
Customers can now purchase take away fish and chips. We now serve our own hand cut chips. Gluten free batter is also available. Just ask for gluten free when you order.
All of our fish and shellfish are caught by local fisherman, where possible, and our poultry and Game have been produced locally.
We are avid supporters of Hugh's Fish Fight Campaign.
Our Vegetables are grown locally and our salad produce is grown by Gardner's Patch based in Chessell, who specialise in producing heritage lettuce and other salad produce keeping old varieties alive.
We also sell local wine from Adgestone, Cider from Godshill and Local beer from Goddards, Island Ales and Yates Brewery.
